I consider myself a geek girl and I have been considerably unsuccessful when it comes to dating. I have dated geeks and non-geeks and it doesn’t work out. The non-geeks think I’m weird for reading comics, playing my PS2 (yes still havent upgraded -_-) and/or solving crossword puzzles. I am currently a writer for a newspaper and it sucks that I have no clue about the “love game”!

Wow…LOL found your site because i wanted to look up the girl on the state farm comercial and look what I found. Probably one of the best sites that i could find right now. I’m tired of dating girls who done understand me! I’m a Nerd, Geek, Wiz. Freak, and what ever nerdy names you can call me. I’ve been nicked name Dr. Tweak because I’m good at fixing computers and electronics in general and I like to “Tweak” aka overclock ect and just make things better and faster. I fixing computer for a living. I’m one of the few people who can say I LOVE MY JOB!!! When i find someone who know knows what I am talking about about I start talking about FSB, Ram, CPU, northbridge, PCI-E Ect and can understand me when i talk about electronics I just don’t shut up because I never find anyone like that let alone a girl. But after reading all though your site i feel like there is still hope for me! A girl who understand that when i start to build a computer I can’t stop still I’m done. That when a new Video card or CPU or something comes out and I’m drooling all over it she knows exactly what it is and says “Sorry sweety not now but soon” LOL never had a GF who understood why i had to spend so much money on a computer and games and money to build a 10 TB raid to store all of my data because I am a Data horder…and yes thats 10 Terabytes!!! Def look foward to to seeing more on your site and i sucribed to your news letter…and yes i know i dont have the best spelling…hahaha…

This has got to be one of the coolest sites I have ever laid my “nerdy” eyes on!
So far… All your articles are pretty epic (10 within about 30 minutes.)
The comments people have left seem just as great, which means great people!

@kuchiki that doesn’t sound silly at all! Though I honestly only have a hint of an idea about death note… I only just got into anime and manga a while ago. Who knew it was pretty rad.

@E … I must say you seem like one of the most bad ass women on the face of this planet. And if it ever came to it, I would be honored and energized to have a full out lightsaber duel with you!!

One last note for any other guys out there that are doubting the existence of such amazing women… A friend of mine we will call him J for the sake of anonymity met a dream girl several months ago. How do I know she is a keeper for him?? She made us snacks, followed by fresh crab rangoon, followed by homemade pizza… All while we played Army of Two: The 40th Day. And didn’t complain or criticize the entire time. She did the exact opposite, she sat behind us,watching and cheered. She set the bar for girls… And I am totally jealous. Congrats J. And it is a pleasure being friends with his gf N.

For a very, very long time, I’ve felt that my own geekiness/nerdiness has kept me isolated from, well, people. As I get a few years under my belt, I can see that they’re disconnected from each other – I can improve my ability to communicate without abandoning the things I enjoy doing (D&D, Star Trek, Star Wars, anime, and more).

I am a work in constant progress. I’m not ready to date again just yet, but I’ll have an idea what to look for when I am. Whoever she is, though, she needs to realize that nothing is broken until I say so.
