There are all sorts of people out there in the dating world.
You probably have catchy names for them - the Party Girl, the Career Girl, the Starving Artist…
Rather than explain them in a normal type of way, I figured, why not describe them in terms a geek will appreciate and understand at a deeper level?

I’ll date you because…
Lawful Good: You seem to be an upstanding gentleman.
Chaotic Good: It seems that we’d have a good time together.
Neutral Good: It seems like a good idea.
Lawful Neutral: You asked me out and seem to be nice enough.
Neutral: You asked me out.
Chaotic Neutral: Um, okay. I have nothing else to do, I suppose.
Neutral Evil: I want a free dinner tonight.
Chaotic Evil: Dinner, drinks, movie… I’ll pay for the next date. Maybe.
Lawful Evil: Dinner, drinks, movie… whatever else I can get for free before I absolutely have to return the favor.

Seems to me, LE and CE should switch. Except for the last “Maybe” which should stay under Chaotic.

What a cute article! Reading this made me laugh, and I couldn’t help but think up my own take on it. Here are the reasons I came up with for the “I’ll date you because” opening:
Lawful Good: You seem like a good choice for a long-term, stable relationship. If things go well, lets start a family together.
Neutral Good: You seem like a wonderful person. I’m looking forward to falling in love with you.
Chaotic Good: You seem fun! I hope we’ll always enjoy each other’s company this much!
Lawful Neutral: It’s time for me to start dating seriously. You seem to have very good prospectives.
Neutral: Dating is something I enjoy. Let’s just go out and see what happens.
Chaotic Neutral: I felt like going out tonight. So, what do you wanna do?
Lawful Evil: You seem to be what I want right now. So long as you stay that way, we’ll get along fine.
Neutral Evil: I think you’ll dote on me. Keep it up if you want me to call you back.
Chaotic Evil: You seem like something I’d enjoy. The instant I don’t think you’re fun anymore, I’m done with you.
