Craigslist Experiment 3.0 – MILF Edition – The Good, Part 2

MILFThis ad went live at 8 pm and I pulled it off at 1:00 am. Here are the GOOD (of The Good, The Bad, and the Hilarious):

Bachelor #6

Hi, Linda,

It is great that your daughter earned a full scholarship at —-. Hard work does pay off. Of course I’m sure you encouraged her all along the way.

Since you are looking for someone to date, I’ll tell you a little about me. I am a widower, 54, 6’1″ and 185 lbs. I work in —-but live in —–. I write work procedures, used to fight fires, and love to cook on the grill. I do have a dog that gets lonely for company and needs another to play with. Does your dog like the water? I live on a lake and mine is in it all the time. Would a nice relaxing day on the lake be good for you? I tried to attach a picture, but it was to big and I haven’t figured out how to make it as small as it needs to be to fit. Since you can’t see a picture yet, I have been told that I am handsome. Hope to hear from you, thanks, D.

Other than the lack of picture, he seems to be a great catch. Too bad Linda’s not real.

Bachelor #7

Hi Linda. Congratulations on your project being successful. What is Christy going to major in? I am a single, white 47 year old. I read books and can cook a perfect steak. I’m afraid the only code I write is when I’m trying to decipher my own handwriting. Whoever took the picture you posted did you justice. Your eyes are captivating.

Mike

Nicely written. Short, sweet, witty. Flattering, but not so much so that it’s creepy. Good balance!

Bachelor #8

Hi Linda,

I saw your ad and had to respond. First, congratulations on your daughter getting into —, what an honor. My name is T—– and I am 58 years old. I am a manager for the —— company and have worked very hard for a long time. Its now time for me also to meet someone and spend quality time with them. I stand 5 feet 9 inches tall and weight is 180–blonde hair. I do make a great steak but I am not a crime fighter. My friends would say I am loyal and a great guy. I love dogs, and had one a while back. If you would like to talk more, you could e-mail me, and I would send you my phone number. I do love hockey and if you would like to see a (local hockey team) game sometime that would also be great.

T.

Another nice and well-balanced email. I have to say, the older guys have definitely proven themselves!

Bachelor #9

Hi! I am animal lover who works for a local animal rescue group. I would find it difficult to date someone who is not into animals themselves. My dogs are my four legged kids. I have a dogue de bordeaux and a rottie mix.

I am completely single and have no children. I was in two long term relationships. One for 15 years and one for 6 years. The first lady passed and the other we determined were better friends then marriage material. I don’t really have any baggage from either of these. It is time to move on and get back into dating again. I don’t like the bar scene nor do I want to ask my friends or aunt to “fix me up” so I thought I would try this. I mostly enjoy going out or staying in and doing things one on one.

I like to eat good food both in or out. I enjoy cooking for two and if you enjoy making desert we may be the perfect match. I have a built in BBQ and use it year round. I also enjoy watching films both classic and current. I like comedies, drama, mysteries, adventure, action, science fiction and documentaries. I don’ really care for horror films especially if violent and it is only used for shock and it doesn’t advance the story line. I do really enjoy Alfred Hitchcock movies.

I enjoy music both in or out. I spent 10 years in the music industry and have some stories as well as a collection of quite a few recordings. I like most types of music but can’t stand rap. I especially enjoy classic rock, jazz, blues and much country. I can even be found at times listening to classical.

I like taking the dogs for walks, taking walks around downtown —— and arts and music festivals in the summer. I haven’t been to the —– since it reopened and would like to. I like the zoo and when gas was cheaper taking road trips. I am game for most any new activity and am comfortable If you take the lead at times.

If you would like to know more, please email me.

Thanks for your time,
R.

P.S. I grew up in —– and went to ——-High. Go ——, and of course, Go —-!

A bit long, but if he’s into the same stuff she is, she’s find it interesting. Either way, you risk losing her attention if you write emails that are this involved. Stick to short, sweet, and a little witty and you’ll have more success.

Bachelor #10

Hello, 46 yo SWM that reads (currently taking classes at –CC for CNC,hence the code) manages a ——- and cooks a mean steak, smokes ribs and turkeys too. Love to camp, boat, hunt, and fish. During the summer on the weekends you will find me on the water some where between —-and —–. Check out the pic and lets chat if your still interested. Hopefully your d/d free but light drinker would be fine. Oh yea, for a bonus…I have a dog..lol.

P.

He was doing well until the d/d free business… which transitions us into…. THE BAD!!!
