Hmm. Now that we have the top 10 reasons to hunt geeks in their natural environment, how about a list of top 10 ways or places to hunt geeks in their natural environment? Surely dating sites aren't all there are, and it'd be a nice continuation of this article. :)

I just hoped that every other girl would be as smart as you! Never mind, I find geeks coming out of the Laptop garden once in a while. Girls can bag it as a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity!

I met my geek at work. We've been married for almost 30 years now (yes, I'm much older than your usual reader. :) ) I realize that meeting someone on-the-job is risky, but we ended up leaving that company for another one soon after our relationship went "public."

I disagree with #5. I have played D&D with quite a few single geek ladies who were not ugly. And I wasn't dating my fiancee when we starting D&Ding together (not how we meet but still).

Now I will have to agree with #7, having been the only female employee at a video game store while I was still in school there was no shortage of guys that would hit on any girl (employee or not) at a video game store. And to be honest most of them were younger teenagers thinking they could successful pick up chicks (they really should have put more talent points into charamisa if you ask me).

I was lucky that #5 was not the case for me, but then again, I did know (and like) her before we started playing.

I thought #7 was totally true. Until I found out that she was interested in me from day one. We've been living together for 5 months. :-D
