Happy News!
It’s official. Just two days ago, I was hired by Examiner.com to be their National Online Dating Examiner.
Examiner.com describes itself as “rapidly becoming the online destination for local information, helpful resources and events in 60 major markets across the country. Examiner.com offers unique content that is contributed by passionate people known as Examiners.”
While I had applied on the local site for Charlotte, apparently they liked my stuff so much that they hired me to be one of only 15 National Examiners in the Relationships channel.
Don’t worry, nothing is going to happen to the blog. You will see some old material redone over there as I build up the library of material on that side. There will be a couple features exclusive to my Examiner page and the personal ad makeover contest will remain exclusively here. Examiner will give me the chance to grow my audience and even get some more female clients!
But, in the interest of growing my writing career, I’m removing the cloak of anonymity. The benefits at this point outweigh the risks.
“E.” stands for Erin, though my friends will tell you I really prefer being called E. My last name is Foley and when you add the middle of Maureen, you should be able to guess my nationality pretty easily!
Here’s a gift for all of you who have spent the last year curious about seeing more than just my eye!
There’s a whopping 90 x 75 pixels of my entire face on my Examiner page. Please drop by and subscribe to my RSS feed. (The link is a little hard to find, so if you’re feeling lazy, just click here.) Please pass the word to any of your single friends – especially non-geek and lady friends!
Come along for this new leg of my journey, geek friends!

@ Jo – Me too. It’s probably my favorite picture of me.
Oh, and for anybody who wonders… the little girl in the “precious snowflake” ad below is me from kindergarten.
Congratulations e! If anyone deserved that job, it’s you! Hopefully, this won’t take up too much of your time on the book about girls in gaming you and Stupid Ranger are working on.
Congrats E!!!
Congratulations. I’m actually tempted to apply for a couple of spots in my locality… but I’m awfully lazy and I’m not sure I have enough to say.
