Graham: Thx, ‘Body Language’, I should have remembered. And about what we are doing here, we are having a conversation where Cherie and you may have had some misunderstanding on the intent of the explanation of the expression I didn’t remembered. My point

I’m like that, I need to see people to understand how they are. When I read profiles on dating sites, most of the time it doesn’t speak to me. But I’m still fully supportive of e’s work, she’s the best ! And those conversation, are still interesting.

Hybban: Your ex-wife situation MAY be influencing your opinion. Remember, one bad situation doesn’t make the whole idea of Internet dating wrong. But it’s also not for everybody. I think people that do really well on the Internet are the ones who probably have a harder time initially face-to-face. (This geek girl raises her hand!) There are tons of ways to meet people today and the Internet is only one of them, that’s the good news.

Graham: Thanks for the def. of “body language”! If only I’d have had that for the book! haha (teasing…) But you hit the nail on the head, you’ve got to have the non-verbal communication to make the whole picture work. You can’t fall in love with a profile. Though some have tried…

The english term for that is “body language” (you learn something new every day, eh?), and I can definitely understand the point. Communication without body language and intonation does lose something.

But how is it all that different from what we’re doing here?
