Win A Free Copy of the Eberron Player’s Guide! (Dungeons & Dragons 4e)

If you remember my Origins 2009 adventure, you’ll know that DaveTheGame and I had a wundergroup that defeated the RPGA’s Ultimate Dungeon Delve!

Stabbie the rogue did a flying ninja flip up onto the dragon’s head and force-fed it the antidote to the evil curse!  It was totally awesome.

…and I won a prize I totally didn’t need.

Well, other than for getting more traffic (hooray, honesty!) and giving stuff away to people!

Want to win the Eberron Player’s Guide?   Post a comment below!

This contest is open to those in the U.S. (or active military personnel with an APO/FPO address!).

I’d love to open it up to everyone, but sending one book to somewhere as close as Canada is over $20.  If you live outside the U.S. and want to pay your own shipping, feel free to enter (but I think it would be cheaper for you to just buy the book!).

CONTEST ENDS 7/17/09, 11:59 PM EST.

  1. Love your site. I’d use your dating service if I didn’t have a significant other.

  2. Oh, I’m so in for this. :)

    *crosses fingers*

  3. I constantly strive to make my turn-based-strategy-role-playing-game (yes, it really is all of those and maybe more) better and how could this be more easily achieved than sending me a free book? That and you should feel sorry for me, I’m not quite sure why but I’m told that the sympathy vote is always worth something.

  4. Who am I to not enter for a free copy of the player’s guide to my absolute favorite campaign setting?!

Would also like to pick up that book.

  8. If you remember (or review your received tweets), I cheered Stabbie on during the adventure, providing support for the rogue’s efforts and eventual success. Therefore, it seems only fair for you to share this treasure with me. :D

But if I were, I’ve always been sort of interested in online matchmaking, particularly because of this site. I thought it was all a bunch of huff until I read an RPG blog backing it!

  19. Yeah, count me in.

  20. I’m always game for a contest. I’ve never eally gotten into Eberron, always more of a Realms fan. But I’m always open to checking out something new. Especially if i can use it in my own custom world setting.

  71. Oh, good Lord. I’m still playing with 2nd Edition rules. I really need to update my book collection.

  72. Ooooh man! I’d totally love a copy of this. Being the DM gets expensive, so free books ftw!

  73. I could definitely use that.

  74. Inked Lion says:

    Hey E,
Thanks for giving us the play by play at the Origins 2009 Ultimate Dungeon Delve. It was truly EPIC! I’m looking forward to giving it a try at GenCon.

    Hope to see you there!

    Matt

Keep the great content coming! Thanks!

  75. Free Stuff :)

But PAX has a different Ultimate Dungeon Delve so I will have to play blind

  76. I wish there had been a service like this around when I was single. Of course, that was more than a decade ago, so social media sites were effectively non-existent.

  77. Geek Girls and free books!? Who in their right mind could resist that?

I don’t know much about Eberron, but I’m willing to learn.

Will have to check out your blog. Seems like a good site to me. Oh and PLEASE I will take that Eberron book thank you.

  88. Trent Boyd says:

I would like to enter this competition
I live in Aus but if it was a signed copy i would pay for the postage

  89. Ooo, count me in. Eberron is something that I’ve fallen in love with without even reading the books, so in a way me winning the contest would be like finding a match… But not really.

  90. Mark Montgomery says:

    Freebies!
    Thanks for the opportunity,
    –Aahz

  91. Count me for a chance. I know I recently bought one of the expanison books for regular 4.0 thinking I would get a new class the swordmage, but it turns out that class is in Eberron player’s handbook. I haven’t played this series before but I know my husband would love to have a new class to check out. ^_^

  92. @DiceGirl -

If you’re looking for the Swordmage, you will be disappointed. The Swordmage is in the Forgotten Realms player’s guide. The Eberron player’s guide has the Artificer (which is also a great new class).

(Note to e, don’t include me in this, as I already have the book.)

  97. @ Michael – I sure do! Geeks are geeks, gay, straight, bi, whatever. Doesn’t matter to me. :-)

  98. I’d use the service too, if I was not married. This is a cool site though

I’ve been reading your blog for a while, and am a big fan.

  105. Ok OK so who gets the free stuff?
