On the road again…
I’m at Origins Game Fair in Columbus, Ohio this weekend, getting my geek on in a major way. But I’m also there on business, both of my own and for ThinkGeek (my amazing day job).
ThinkGeek Stuff
Finding me may yield cash and prizes!
Okay, not cash. But perhaps prizes if you’re a lucky duck. Each morning when I leave my hotel, I will pack my bag full of ThinkGeek items. Should you find me while I still have some, you can have one.
I will also have the new ThinkGeek catalog, so if you didn’t receive one in the mail and want one, just ask and ye shall receive. There’s a special coupon code on the back just for folks who find me at Origins, too.
Follow @thinkgeek on Twitter and there may even be other surprises throughout the weekend.
Geek’s Dream Girl Stuff
I may or may not have events at Origins this year… I *think* there will be a single geeks board game mixer, but the person who was supposed to put the event in the calendar isn’t with GAMA (the organization that puts on Origins) anymore, so I’m just as clueless as you all are as far as what’s going to happen.
Worst case scenario, if no events occur, I would still like to meet you if you’re at the con. I’m friendly and don’t bite (hard). Ping me on Twitter or shoot me an email.
I have Geek’s Dream Girl postcards with my super-cool monster stat block and a special discount code just for con-goers.
How To Find Me
Go to places I might be. Here are prime locations for E-stalking:
- Red Roof Inn
- Exhibit Hall
- WotC / D&D areas and seminars
- Looney Labs area
Look for my avatar (that gal in the header) painted across my bosom.
I have t-shirts with my avatar on them for easily spotting me at cons. I’m 5’7″, am fat-tastically curvy, wear brown glasses, and have short brown hair with stripes of magenta. Most often, you’ll spot me in the presence of my boyfriend, DaveTheGame of Critical Hits.
Follow me on Twitter.
I will be tweeting throughout the weekend, so if you’re following me you’ll have a pretty good idea where I am. Even if you don’t have a Twitter account, you can still read my Twitter profile and see my updates.
CoverItLive
At DDXP in January, I covered several of the Wizards of the Coast seminars and announcements via CoverItLive. It’s a great way for me to be able to cover things in more than 140 characters – and it also keeps my twitterings from flooding the streams of non-gamers that follow me.
Depending on WiFi access at Origins, I may or may not be using CoverItLive. If I am, you’ll see a link here and on Twitter directing you to the place to watch the action unfold.
See You There!
For folks coming to Origins this weekend, I hope to meet you! If you can’t come, I hope you enjoy “seeing” the con through my eyes. I hope you don’t get too green with envy.
