Holy Testimonial, Batman! WE HAVE A WEDDING!

My face is about to split open from smiling so hard for so long.

From the first day I opened shop and started writing dating profiles for geeks, my dream was to be able to say I caused some geek weddings.

About a year ago, a guy named Geoff ordered the Copper Package.  I wrote him a brand new profile, helped him out with a few questions he had, and sent him on his merry way into the online dating world.

A bit later, he wrote me to let me know about how it was going for him:

“I just had to write to thank you again for your help with my profile. It ended up catching the eye of someone that I’ve exchanged several nice emails with. Not sure where, if anywhere, it will end up leading, but it’s kind of nice not to be lodged in the chasm of suckitude anymore. And if it does end up going somewhere, I’ll have you to thank for it.”

Awesome, right?

But then… late last night, I got this email from Geoff and I’ve been grinning ear to ear ever since:

So, you might remember that you did an ad for me once upon a time, and I told you that it caught the eye of someone with whom I hit it off, and we went on a couple of dates.  Well, a little update:  in about a month, we’re getting married. :-)   So I’d say it went well.  :-)   Thanks for helping me meet the love of my life.  That Copper d20 Package turned out to be one of the best purchases I’ve ever made.  ;-)

Congratulations, Geoff! Everyone here at Geek’s Dream Girl is totally thrilled for you and wish you and your new wife a long, happy (and hopefully a wee bit geeky) life together!
