Choosing the right location for a date can be a tricky task; it’s important to spend time to research the best places to impress. However, with the help of GeeksDreamGirl.com, this task becomes a lot easier through the Great Dates in 50 States section. In this article, the focus will be the windy city of Chicago.
If you both like cocktails, then the Aviary is the ideal date location. Ever since Tom Cruise donned the bartender outfit, the cocktail has never been the same again. These alcoholic drinks are like no other and the Aviary takes it to the next level. For example, you can choose a raspberry cocktail which is served hot and brewed right in front of you. There are also drinks that are served with watermelon ice cubes and a white Russian comes with a milk ice cube. However, this is just the start, the more complex cocktails include the Rob Roy, which is served in a bag of lavender air, and the In The Rocks, which is a cocktail served inside a ball of ice.
So for something fun and exciting for the cocktail lover inside of you and your date, the Aviary is the number one choice in Chicago.

The Aviary is located at the corner of Fulton Market and Morgan streets.
For those of you who are interested in fine dining without the pretentious and pompous atmosphere, then Tru is the place for you. This is a Michelin-star restaurant that fully deserves its recommendation. Be warned, the whole meal can take up to a few hours as you go through course by course of deliciously handcrafted food, which resembles art more than sustenance. Then there is the service, the staff are almost as impressive as the food as they work in synchronization to pour drinks, deliver food and remove empty plates. If you have any questions about the food, don’t hesitate to ask your waiters as they have an incredible amount of knowledge and will be able to answer any of your questions. So if you’re looking for somewhere to impress your date, Tru is an excellent upscale choice.

Garfield Park Conservatory
As we’re in difficult economic times, it’s best to offer some cheaper alternatives to the places mentioned above. This leads to one of the highlights of Chicago; the Garfield Park Conservatory. This is an incredible place for a date, especially for those who are fond of nature and one of its most amazing aspects is that it is completely free including parking!
Living in a city can be a little hectic so taking your date to the Garfield Park Conservatory will be a breath of fresh air as you both experience nature unlike anywhere else in the city. One of the most amazing rooms is the Aroid House, where you will find the Persian Pool. This is where a world famous glass artist has created sixteen yellow lily pads that are located within the lagoon. It has an amazing calming effect and would be an ideal romantic location for any date.

Following on from the nature theme, we have the Lincoln Park Zoo, which is open 365 days a year! Once again, living in the city, it’s difficult to feel at one with nature and visiting places like the Lincoln Park Zoo provide a refreshing change from normal life. This zoo is free for all, very clean and is located in a beautiful neighborhood. There are all sorts of animals from lions and tigers to bears and giraffes, with friendly staff who are willing to offer additional information as well as directions.
In addition, if you have a date coming up; from late November to part of December you can experience the Zoo Lights. This is where they mix the fun of the zoo with beautiful Christmas light and festive tunes. The animal enclosures become dazzling displays whilst impressive ice sculptures are formed of the favorite animals.
