What is GeekMMM?

GeekMMM is a newsletter. Once a month you’ll get an email chock full of geek dating goodness.  Subscriber-only stuff, sneak previews of upcoming content, and exclusive discount codes for services.  If you want the insider scoop so you can get the dates you want and find the geek of your dreams, you’ll get the tools here.

GeekMMM is a dating service. (BUT NOT A DATING SITE! See the FAQ for more.) Each month, two lucky geeks will be chosen as the Geeks of the Month.  One girl, one guy.   I will write up short descriptions of them and (should they choose) include a picture in the members-only newsletter.  Like the Geek of the Month?  Send an email to geekofthemonth@geeksdreamgirl.com and I’ll forward it on to them.

GeekMMM is a matchmaking service. Even if you’re not Geek of the Month, I am still working for you.  I will be constantly reviewing my database of fine geek souls and looking for ones that are compatible.  When I find someone who might strike your fancy, I will make with the superbly worded introductions.  You make with the chemistry!

“Is this gonna be worth it?”

For the price I’m charging – $10 for life for guys, $5 for ladies – it’s definitely worth it even if you never get a match.   Heck, you’ll recoup your cash the first time you get a discount code or the first time you use one of my exclusive tips to help take your dating life to the next level.

“Why are girls half price? It’s not FAIR!”

Girls are half price so the membership has enough girls. Otherwise, it would be a sausage fest, and as geeks, you have probably attended enough sausage fests to know that it’s hard to find girls there. Right? Right.

The price break for the ladies ensures I have plenty of ladies to potentially match up with the gentlemen.

“Am I geek enough?”

No matter what flavor or intensity of geek you are, you’re welcome on the list! Even if you’re just a girl who LIKES geeks and doesn’t necessarily geek out yourself, you should sign up. You don’t know how many geek guys would love to have a girl who doesn’t force him to choose between gaming and a relationship!

“How many people are signed up?”

“Who is going to see my personal info?”

Me.   I will contact you if you’re chosen as Geek of the Month and you’ll have full control over how you’re presented.  If I feel there’s a match between you and another member, I’ll talk to you both individually before linking you up.  Your privacy is sacred, and I will honor it.

“Is this going to be another geek dating site?”

No way. Your info stays with me! There are no public profiles on the website. If you’re chosen as Geek of the Month, I’ll craft you a mini-profile which will be sent to the members of GeekMMM.

“Where’s my profile? How can I edit it?”

Your profile is stored on the GeekMMM server. Because this isn’t a dating SITE, your profile does not appear anywhere on geeksdreamgirl.com. This is a fully private matchmaking club.

You can edit your profile by logging into the system with your username and password (you’ll set this up when you join), typing in your edits, and re-submitting your profile.

Remember, this is a matchmaking service, not a dating site, so you’ll be contacted BEFORE I match you with anyone to be sure your status or other things have changed.

“But it’s a small list so far, why should I join now?”

1) I have plenty of time to get to know the original list members and extoll their virtues to all the geeks and geek-lovers I encounter on the intarwebz. Once the list gets huge, I won’t be able to do that as much.
2) The GeekMMM newsletter is an email. If John in Kansas City is a member and sees the Geek of the Month is a pretty geekette in his buddy’s hometown of Denver, CO, there’s nothing stopping him from forwarding the mailing on to his friend to share the geek love.
3) There’s a special discount code for GDG services being sent out to GeekMMM members that’s only good for the first 50 people to use it.

“Since this is a US based sited, most of your members must be from the US, right?”

You are correct, GeekMMM’s members are mostly from the US. However, we do have members from Australia, Canada, Slovenia, and the UK.

“Are GLBT singles welcome?”

Of course! You’re in the minority, but we do have gay members of both genders as well as several bi members.

“Are you supplementing this list with contact information you’ve farmed from other dating sites?”

No. All members of the list have joined GeekMMM under their own volition. No part of the list has been purchased from any other dating site. That’s ewwy.

“I’m not single.  Well, I’m kinda single.  Can I still sign up?”

If you feel that you will be single in the future and need my services, you are most welcome to sign up.  If at any time during your membership you need to take yourself off the market, shoot me an email and I’ll set you to inactive so I will know not to feature you as Geek of the Month or send you matches.

“Can I freeze my account if I’m in a relationship?”

Yes! If you’re in a relationship, you can freeze your account. You will not receive any emails or matches while your account is frozen. If you find yourself single again, you can unfreeze your account.

“I’m 16, why can’t I join?”

Ah, geekling, you are still too young. Because this is a dating service, not just a newsletter, I cannot legally allow minors to join. Come back when you’re 18 and you’re more than welcome in the club. (Lie about being 18 and I will delete your account with no refund and track your IP so I can call your parents. Go on, try me.)

“Where are you going to find all these single geeks?”

Geeks live all over the internet.  As word spreads about this magical list of geek love, GeekMMM, people will come from far and wide to join.
